the most important religions in Japan are Shintoism and Buddhism. Many Japanese adept to both religions (to be sure?). Although most young Japanese are not so great religious addicts anymore. But for the important moments in live such as births, funerals and weddings the ritual ceremonies are still popular. While visiting the Meiji-shingu shrine (shintoism) we could witness the grandeur and beauty of an official wedding. The classic family photo was an event for family and tourists. The whole mise en scene took almost an hour. Have a close look at the photographer clapping in his hands in an attempt to make the family laugh and at his assistant ringing a little bell to make the babies to be photographed smiling like little angels.
