Hiroshima.

Since August 6 1945 Hiroshima has become a synonym for the devastating effects of the atom bomb. It was impressive to visit the Peace Park, the Peace museum, the A-bomb dome (one of the few buildings left after the bomb, see picture) and to attend the ceremony of the 61st anniversary (we were lucky to be in Hiroshima on August 6). Today Hiroshima is also a testimony to the power of life over destruction: we saw also a vibrant reconstructed city of 1.5 million people.

Yeah, we can't forget the day and must not forget it.
This year, I went to Hiroshima and when I saw it, I really ached my heart.
